Authors

Introduction

In this article you will find out everything covering you should know before making your purchase, and this article also includes my comprehensive review of the KZ EDX PRO.

Unboxing Experience

Opening the box felt like unwrapping a premium gift. Everything was neatly organized, with no unnecessary clutter. It was a simple yet classy unboxing experience, and I appreciated the minimalistic approach.

What's Inside The Box

  • I found two pairs of silicon ear tips (in large and small sizes)
  • a single 3.5mm jack cable with gold plating
  • and of course, the two KZ EDX PRO earbuds neatly tucked inside

Sound Quality & Comfort

Using the KZ EDX PRO for extended music sessions or gaming was surprisingly comfortable. While it ultimately depends on your ear shape, I found it to be quite accommodating. Although, like with any earbuds, prolonged use might lead to slight discomfort. However, it's nothing major and becomes less noticeable over time.

How Good Is The Fitting

The fit was perfect, which is a rarity with in-ear devices. It effectively blocked out a lot of ambient noise, even when I was outdoors during heavy rain. I was able to immerse myself in music without any distractions, even at moderate volume levels.

Multimedia Experience

I tested it while watching "Suzume," and the surround sound experience was impressive. Every detail was crystal clear, making it suitable for extended movie or series binges without disappointment.

Comparing it to my JBL Tune earbuds and JBL Run BT, the sound quality was noticeably better.

Mic & Buttons

The mic performed well for calls and gaming, delivering clear audio without any issues. While it have only a single button control, and the button is really clicky and feels good.

Buttons and its functions

It comes with a single button control with the mic, below are the function i have listed.

Call Control

Single click on calls make the call mute for me! But it may be different in other devices

Music control

  • single click > play/pause
  • double click > next or skip songs
  • triple click > previous songs"

Design & Build Quality

The transparent body with a metal plate on the earbuds exuded a cool and premium vibe. However, the wire's plastic smell was a bit off-putting initially, but aside from that, the overall build quality felt top-notch.

Upon first glance, the wire appears aged and worn, possibly due to its color.

Sound Performance

During my extensive music streaming sessions on Spotify and YouTube Music, the KZ EDX PRO impressed me across various genres, from bass-heavy tracks to pop and R&B. It maintained clarity and didn't distort even at maximum volume, earning a solid 9/10 for sound and 8/10 for bass.

Gaming Experience

Playing BGMI in classic rank mode was a smooth experience with low latency and immersive surround sound make it easily to spot the enemies footsteps. I'd rate the gaming experience a solid 7.8/10, making it suitable for gaming without any concerns.

Myths

Q: Some people may say to burn your IEM to make it sound even better?

Ans: My answer to them, IEM sounds already fine 🔥 i dont have to burn them to make it sound better as it already do.

Suggestion & Conclusion

If you want a wired earphone or even looking to start your IEM journey but don't know where to start, just get one KZ EDX PRO and trust me you will not get any disappoint.

I want to buy one!

I prefer you to get it from headphonezone.in website or on Amazon seller Concept Kart

What is the best deal to buy ?

If you find the device priced between 850 to 950 rupees, grab it – that's a good deal. However, avoid sellers asking for over 5k rupees for the same device.
